Do you absolutely love your career?
Are you going for a promotion or recently been passed over for a promotion?
Do you say “yes” whenever your boss asks you to stay late or coworkers asks you to help with their workload, when you really just want to get the heck outta there?
Are you struggling to demonstrate your value and to stop being invisible at your company?
Stellar! You are in the right place. Welcome to Career Women Academy!
I am so sick and tired of hearing how we women are not getting paid what we are worth, not reaching the executive floors, not getting enough paid time off to bring life into this world, etc.
Though that may be what is for you right now, it doesn’t have to continue to be this way. You know how you can get those things?
You have to be part of the conversation.
We can’t keep waiting for someone to understand our plight and then deem us worthy and give us permission to have what we want. We have to be the ones we have been waiting for. It’s time to realize there is no glass ceiling placed on us, we put it there.
I know you are thinking: but what about those who really are in the way of our career? Who really don’t want to let us make the next step up on the ladder?
I am aware that this does happen and when it does you have to fight past that barrier and if you still can’t get past, it’s time to move on to another place where you can thrive.
Stop settling for scraps!
The entire mission of the Career Women Academy is to get you promoted, no matter what industry you are in: marketing, financial, medical, legal, political, science, etc.
